Special educational needs workshops for young people in Southwark

Special educational needs workshops are happening now for young people to get involved in Southwark, involving music, movement, dance and drama.

Black Stock Media & Rhythm & Views, a media arts company, are hosting a series of workshops called Flip the Script at Theatre Peckham in Southwark.

The workshops began on 14 October and are running for eight weeks for people aged 16 to 25 with special educational needs and disabilities.

Flip the Script aims to give participants a space to express themselves and provide them with opportunities for creativity that they do not often get.

The participants have also been working on collages, that are hung up during the sessions, that explore their likes, hobbies, and who they are as people.
