A former biscuit factory in Bermondsey has been transformed into a fully automated high-tech self-storage facility.
The old Peek Frean’s biscuit factory is what gave Bermondsey the name ‘Biscuit Town’ and it formerly employed generations of locals, producing biscuits from 1866 to 1989.
You’ll even find a blue plaque here, marking its significant place in London’s history.
Now, the same building will offer 132 smart storage units across 10,000 square feet, following its acquisition by Pocket Storage.
Pocket Storage is all about making storage spaces simple using cutting edge technology.

Co-founder Max Wilson said: “The biscuit factory is the perfect spot to introduce our innovative, technology driven approach to self storage.”
With 78% of London Bridge and West Bermondsey residents being between the ages of 20 and 39, the simple process and pricing makes the Pocket Storage facilities even more appealing to locals.
Co-founder Louis Arron said: “By offering modern storage that’s also great value, we’re confident we’ll make a real impact in an area that really needs.”
Pocket Storage opens at 100 Drummond Road this September, with plans to expand to three more Central London locations in 2025, followed by cities like New York, Paris and Tokyo.
