A West Norwood knitting group is providing essential creative and social stimulation to its residents.
The KnitWits, an adult social knitting group, have been operating in West Norwood for eight years and have grown from its original five members to a cohort of over fifty people.
Regular member, Su McLaughlin, said: “People have described it as being a bit of a lifeline, and that is not an exaggeration, it is about having somewhere to come and knowing you are going to have someone to chat to.”
