King Charles’s coronation order of service at Westminster Abbey is revealed

The order of service of King Charles‘s coronation has been released.

The 50-page document provides a step-by-step guide to the historic ceremony which will be seen by a global TV audience.

It includes a friendly but firm request to guests that once inside the abbey they don’t take pictures, turn off their phones and keep as quiet as possible.

The order of service says: “Members of the Congregation are requested kindly to refrain from using cameras, video, or sound recording equipment.

“Please ensure that mobile phones and other electronic devices are switched off. During the music before the service, please keep conversation to a minimum.”

The document was released by Buckingham Palace at midnight on Friday night, 11 hours before the service is due to start.
