Attendees, stallholders, the organisers, and sponsors of the Hither Green Community Festival were delighted with how the annual food and crafts festival went.
Taking place in Hither Green, Lewisham, on the 17th of May, the event featured live performances, food and drink stalls, and saw hundreds attend throughout the day.
The festival is organised by the Hither Green Community Association (HGCA) and has been sponsored by local bar and restaurant Last Outpost since 2022.
Last Outpost owner Azeem Khokhar said: “It’s grown rapidly over the years and the amount of different stands and variations of things at the event has been great.”
Following the success of this year’s event, HGCA chair Safiyyah said: “We have lots of stallholders and performers who come back every year, so if people would like to get involved, they can find us online.
“We’re always happy to have extra hands on deck.”
