Camberwell Green hosted the Eat Around the World Festival 2025 on 17 May, attracting upwards of 6,000 visitors.
The festival featured more than 60 food stalls offering dishes from Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean.
Southwark is one of London’s most diverse boroughs, with more than 40% of residents born outside the UK and more than 160 nationalities represented.
Within this, Camberwell has a rich history as a centre for migrant communities, evolving into a vibrant multicultural neighbourhood.
Organiser Marie Staunton described the festival as more than just food; it’s a celebration of heritage, culture, and community.
